Hello,
I'm Rachel! I design usable experiences grounded in research and tested by users.

Whether designing a service, an app, or a website, I bring my passion for crafting thoughtful experiences to the table. As a Senior UX designer at TJX Companies, I ground my work in industry best practices, validate decisions with user testing, and iterate designs based on stakeholder and user feedback.
I earned my Master’s degree in interactive design from Northeastern University where I created Pet2Vet, a service prototype for managing pet healthcare at home. Before that, I was an art director leading a team to create interactive print books for children. In any role, I strive to inform, strategize, and solve real-world problems with design.
Approach
The skills I bring to my work every day
User Experience
I start from a place of curiosity. From there, my process is one of continuous research, testing, iteration, and refinement.
Visual Design
My graphic design experience has granted me a keen eye for designing information systems through the use of color, hierarchy, and typography.
Data Visualization
Making complex information clear is an art and a science. I obsess over the data while striving to highlight only the most compelling narrative it tells.
Leadership
As a manager and mentor to designers, I advocate for and support my team so they can harness their talents, feel valued, and produce the best quality work.
Storytelling
Insights from users, my challenged assumptions, surprises uncovered, and team wins both big and small are woven into the stories I share.
Strategy
Design is participatory and great ideas can come from unexpected sources. Educating others on the design process and championing initiatives that support UX is fundamental to strategic growth.
